This fire is burning out of control and it's just 25 miles from Canberra.

But the reality is there is a lot of good news out there.

Compassionate people doing amazing things for others every day.

From small good deeds.

It didn't feel like I was making a big sacrifice in some way. It felt like I was caring about someone that I care about and didn't want her to feel alone.

And it just felt like a little safety net just showed up to life-changing acts of kindness.

How do you pay someone back who saved your life?

I am so incredibly grateful that I need to pay it back to her but also pay it forward to others.

In this season of kind world, we talk to people transforming their communities and the lives

of people around them, like the teacher who made a huge

sacrifice to save her colleagues life. You know I could tell he was choked up, I was

choked up, it was amazing. It just felt like such a gift, like such a gift to be able to do this.

And the woman who's on a mission to help fight addiction in her rural community.

We can do this. And we do. We've done it. We've proven it. It's exciting and now

we're seeing the next steps. So nothing's in our way. Nothing is in our way.
