Uplifting way FM, this is the Wally Show and that is Tasha Layton, who I love her music

and now that I've met her, I love who she is too, like she's super open and we had this

great discussion when she was in here last time about her early career and touring with

Katie Perry and how she knew she was supposed to take that job, but also how she knew God

was telling her to stop and what that looks like if you're a believer.

You were on tour, you said four years with Katie Perry, I know people are going to hear

your story and they're going to say you just felt like God's grace was on you the whole

time or you knew God's grace had left you, it's like you feel like you and God have to

be like intertwined, like you have to be so close to him to feel that way and I would

imagine that he's like, what's that like?

Funny.

I would imagine going four years in a tour bus, it's got to be hard to keep that relationship

with God going, especially a deep one.

I mean, I know the typical answers are, I prayed, I went to church, you know, I didn't

go to church.

So I didn't.
