Hey everyone, Dylan here. So a few weeks ago, I asked you to share your stories of your first

international trip. The first time you had gone to a new country, what that experience was like.

And this just struck a huge chord with people. We got a ton of really good, really funny, really

interesting responses. We already ran an episode about this, but we got so many good responses.

We decided it was worth it to run another and share a few more of your memories. So that is

what you're hearing today. Great, weird, funny moments on people's first big trip.

Hey, Atlas, it's Sejura and Dylan. This is Jenny. I heard that you wanted to know about

our first international trip. And my first international trip when I was 18, my dad said, hey, do you want to go on your

university trip to Italy and learn Italian?

And I said, of course.

And so we went over there for five weeks.

And for me, it was a lot about the Italian, but it was also a lot about the people from the university that I went, because I was outside of my music bubble.

I was with the people from other majors.

But the cool thing about going to Italy, besides learning Italian, was being with the people from my university.

And that's actually where I learned to sing the Tennessee Walt,

even though I'm from Tennessee,

and you'd think I would learn it in Tennessee,

and I'm a musician, and you'd think I would have learned it by then.

But no, I learned it over there.

And a third of the people that we went with were studying art

rather than Italian.
