I'm Maria Bear, alongside John Stone Street, president of the Coulson Center, coming to you from Ohio looking at beautiful tree leaves outside in the red color, but it is a sad place to be for me today.

This was a difficult week in Ohio and I know we want to talk about issue one and

Funly enough not only did Ohio pass an amendment earlier this week that will enshrine the so-called right to abortion in our

state constitution with pretty much no restrictions. We also passed issue two

which legalizes recreational marijuana and commercializes it. But because of issue one and how much attention

understandably that that has received

issue two just kind of skated by

I think it was one of the lowest

financed campaigns in history of constitutional amendments here and it just

kind of skated by because of all of the attention being on issue one.

Both of these I think are going to make for a less safe, less stable state.
