I'm Mike Dempsey-Long with Football Guys own Bob Harrison. On we go to the remainder of Week 5, Bob.

The Washington commanders are heading out west, but they're not all heading out west. Terry McLorin, Noah Brown,

and guard Sam Cosby, all not making the trip. So they've been ruled out here, Bob. Debo Samuel has

been practicing a little bit. He's got a heel issue. Let's start with him. Do you think Debo is on

track to play this week? I think so. Officially listed as did not practice. John Kimes, V.SPN reported he worked out of the side field and looked really good doing it. He made the trip, according to Nikki Javala. So it sounds like it's very promising for his availability on Sunday. Any update on Jane Daniels? Are we still locked in for the moment? I think we're locked in for the moment. Cliff Kingsbury talked about it a bit yesterday about the return from injury said we didn't want to put him out there until he can be Jaden, right? And that's where he's going to be and that's how he's going to play was the quote. So I think the expectation is we will see Jaden Daniels out there. Watch a little footage of him practicing yesterday and he did look like he was moving really well, although with a brace.

Great to hear. Of course, we always want to hear news on Bill Kroski Merritt. Dan Gratziano

at ESPN.com said that the team views Kroski Merritt as the most capable back of becoming

an every down player among the ones on the roster and that he believes that he could be the lead back

in the second half of the season. Why not now, Bob? Where do you rank Bill among running backs this

week? That becoming is key there, right? Right now, I mean, I think he's a flex level play until we

start seeing signs that Graziano has it right. And I think we all suspect he does, in fact,

have it right. But that's all been based on what we've been told and not necessarily on what we've seen. What we've seen is him being, you know, running back 37 through the first four games. He has 172 rushing yards, two touchdowns on 29 carries, three catches, 15 yards on five targets. and that's fine. But just fine. As long as

Washington has all three backs sharing snaps, Chris Rodriguez Jr., Jerry McNichols in there as well,

none of them profile as frontline fantasy starters. But if you're looking for reasons to be optimistic,

our guy, Bill, did have his best game as a pro with Daniels at the quarterback. In week one, 10 carries, 82 yards and his first rushing touchdown against the Giants. So maybe that's a sign of things to come. But we need to see it before we can start playing it with enthusiasm. Understood. All right. Let's move along here to the Baltimore Ravens taking on Houston this week. Trying to get their second win of the season will be the

Ravens, but they'll do it likely without Lamar Jackson at this point, didn't practice again

yesterday, Bob. So let's presume that he's not going to suit up. I got to believe, especially

against Houston, with those very talented edge rushes they have, you want to run the ball right at them, right? I mean, this does seem like even if it's not a great game for Derek Kennedy, a great work. A quote game for him. Well, I think it needs to be, right? And by the way, Josina Anderson to CBS reported yesterday the same thing we'd heard from the Baltimore sons, Brian Wacker, a couple a couple days before that it's a two to three

week absence likely coming for Lamar. And right now, the Ravens are one and three. Jackson could

miss time and the injuries keep mounting on defense. So unless something changes dramatically,
