As we've come to do most Mondays, though we've had a couple of off now, have it.

We're new kind of a variety show and then Thursday.

I don't know, maybe something on permaculture or homesteading this time, but something.

It will be kind of doing some topical things that are going on in the news today,

how they affect us, and I'm going to end with, so Jack, what are you doing about all this stuff?

And so it'll be a good one. Some of you that are in the livestream may have already seen,

a quick little note for me about why we started a little over 10 minutes late today.

That is because there was a bobcat on the homestead and not the kind you drive around and

move dirt with, the kind that eats your animals. And I went outside, I usually take a walk,

five, ten minute walk before I start a show to just kind of reset your brain after doing all the

prep work and everything. So I just think podcasts go better that way. And the chickens were going

nuts and I saw this little thing cruise across the one side of the property and I went,

so I'll feel small to be a coyote. And I also thought it's about the size of bell,

our new German shepherd, our sable shepherd, about her color, but she's in the house and she's

laughter. And so I went around to see what it was and it was a bobcat. It would have been a

dicey shot with a handgun, honestly. And you don't want to miss one like your opportunities.

If you need to take one out once they're shot at, it gets a lot harder to get another shot at them.

So I came in to get the rifle and by that time it had vanished and just appeared. But I know
