0:00.0	Solomon closes the book of Ecclesiastes with these words. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter.
0:14.6	Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. Each of us have been given only one life. What will we do
0:25.3	with it? Life. It's not a game. And in this journey through the book of Ecclesiastes,
0:31.1	Scott Pauley will guide us to better understand the true meaning of life.
0:44.7	There are lots of lies that the devil likes to tell.
0:47.9	You know, Jesus identified Satan as a liar.
0:53.3	John chapter 8, verse number 44, not only as a liar, but as the father of all lies.
0:56.3	And, you know, he speaks through many voices.
1:03.9	He uses many mouthpieces to speak his lies. Ecclesiastes, the book we're studying currently,
1:14.2	is the story of a man who believe those lies and then finally told the truth. You see, truth leads to life. Lies lead to death.
1:21.5	All of Satan's lies lead to death. And only the truth can cut through that. We come to one of them today in Ecclesiase chapter 7 and verse number 26. Solomon finally comes to a conclusion about immorality.
1:30.2	Listen to the verse.
1:31.0	He says,
1:31.5	And I find more bitter than death.
1:36.2	The woman whose heart is snares and nets and her hands as bands,
1:41.9	who so pleaseth God shall escape from her, but the sinner shall be taken by her.
1:49.8	Do you know what Satan's lie is? Satan's lie is that there's nothing worse than death.
1:56.4	But I'm here to tell you, there is something worse than death.
1:59.7	In fact, Solomon says that for a believer, for an upright person, there is something that is more bitter.
2:08.2	Do you know what is more bitter than death?
2:10.2	It is to live in sin.
2:12.3	It's a walking death, you see.
