More Americans say they need multiple jobs just to get by.

More and more Americans are taking on second jobs just to make ends meet.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, about 5.3% of people were working more than one job in July this year.

That's a notch up from the previous month and a significant increase from the

pandemic low of 4%. While the economy boasts a growing job market, essentials like rent and insurance are also going up.
