Yet another Marvel Comics character has his own new movie.

Jared Leto stars as a vampiric anti-hero in Morbius.

The movie is mostly a superhero origin story, even though Morbius himself may or may not

be a hero at all.

Glad to be back.

Oh, it is great to have you, especially to talk about Morbius.

So Morbius stars Jared Leto as the mysterious and brilliant Dr. Michael Morbius, who was

born with a rare and debilitating blood disorder.

Dr. Morbius has spent his life researching unorthodox and unethical treatment possibilities

with the financial assistance of his childhood friend Milo played by Matt Smith.

Eventually with the aid of many vampire bats, Dr. Morbius comes up with a treatment that

gives him superpowers.

Unfortunately, it also gives him a taste for blood that complicates his relationship with

fellow scientist Martin Bancroft played by Adria Arhona.

Morbius takes place in the Sony Wing of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

That's the one that brought us the most recent run of Spider-Man movies.

Morbius is directed by Daniel Espinoza and is now in theaters Aisha.
