0:15.0	The body of James J. Labuff, superintendent of Louisiana Public Utilities Company, who had been mutilated,
0:23.6	shot and gagged, was found weighted down in irons in a lake near here today. There were two
0:31.2	buckshot wounds in the left side and powder burns on the flesh. There was also a long

0:39.3	apparently made to ensure the sinking of the body.

0:46.3	At the coroner's inquest Thursday afternoon,

0:57.0	instruments. He had been missing from his home here since Friday when he is said to have left in a boat
1:04.4	borrowed from a friend. The body was identified by members of the family and friends.
1:16.4	He is not known to have had any enemies, and police say they know of no motive for the attack.
1:22.2	A coroner's inquest resulted in a verdict of murder at the hands of parties unknown.
1:29.3	The sheriff arrived here today from Franklin and immediately began an investigation. Mr. LaBeuff had been shot apparently with a shotgun.
