Hello, this is a Moonday mini-sode for the week of August 2nd.

Well, first of all, let's address the elephant in the room.

I can't believe it's August.

Maybe you can, I cannot.

This year is flying by, and we are in Leo season.

Leo season is always a bit of a mixed back, isn't it?

It's full of fun and fire, but there's also a lot of grief hanging out there.

In my tradition, the Jewish tradition, this is a sad time.

It's the build up to Rosh Hashanah and we're grieving and we're mourning.

And now that we have so many forest fires, highlighting the climate crisis and just

the heat being so, so, so ramped up, there's this intensity that also compounds all this

light, this fire, you know, sight, being able to see something, it's not always pleasant.

Think of the sun card, you know, the sun card, like seeing clear sight, metaphorically and

literally, isn't always amazing.

Plus, there's also this kind of feeling we have in our bodies with this time of year.

It's like the Sunday scaries of the Gregorian calendar, you know, the Sunday night.

It's like that day we have to go back to work, you know, if we work Monday through Friday,

I know many of us don't, but you know what I mean?

Like that back to school feeling, that back to work feeling that hangs out kind of on
