I wanted to talk very generically.

This is not a prepared lecture about aspects of Islamic law,

aspects of fik, and how we deal with differences of opinion.

And I'm going to be giving very simple examples because we want to explain the subject or the issues

and then, inshallah, make a conclusion and I do not mind having an open Q&A after this as well.

Without a doubt, Allah, suhanna and revealed to us a Quran

and sent us a prophet in order for us to have the basics

of theology, of law, and of spirituality.

These are the three aspects of our religion.

What we believe, how we act, and spirituality.

And this is in the Hadith of Jabil, as you know.

And the Prophet

Sallu al-a-a-a-u-sallam explained the primary principles of Islamic law in a

manner that the entirety of the Ummah by and large is following similar

understandings of Islam there is no community that prays six times a day or three times a day.

There is no community that fast a month other than Ramadan.

There is no community that does not give zaka.

All strands of Islam that are mainstream.

99.9% of the Ummah in its entirety.
