I think the Western world has success completely wrong.

You know, I think the assumptions about success are absolutely upside down backwards and

wrong.

I mean, for instance, the assumption that it is better to be wealthy than not wealthy, I

think, is not true.

And I think, in fact, if you just look at, if you study it, what you'll find is generally

speaking, those with less money, you know, are happier than those with a lot of money,

as long as, let me just say, as long as, you know, you have good shelter enough to eat,

you know, right?

But if you get above a subsistence level, if you get to a point where you're comfortable

and you're safe and you're eating, money beyond that doesn't really add happiness.

And a lot of money beyond that, I would say not only doesn't add happiness, but also

maybe starts to infringe on happiness because it causes people to focus on the wrong things,

chase the wrong things, and chase things that are intended to gratify the ego instead

of things that are truly fulfilling.
