We're on the road at the world famous Starboard in Dewey Beach, Delaware, celebrating

Year 30 on the radio.

Thanks to everybody that came out and made the trek down here to Dewey Beach.

We definitely appreciate that.

We also appreciate the hospitality shown to us over many, many years, over decades, actually, by the proprietor of the starboard. Monty, down on the end of the table. Thank you, Monty, again, for having us. It's showing us a great time. Monty, how did we, because a couple people asked me last night, they're like, how did you guys link up with the starbird and Monty? And I was like, I don't know, like 2002 or something we came down here and did running of the bull. Yeah, I believe our mutual friend Stevie Johnson might have had something to do back in these days. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely. That was a good time, though. Well, Monty's the mayor. I can't believe what you've done. every time we come here, you own another restaurant, another apparel shop, I don't know.

restaurant, another apparel shop. I don't know. Or you add up in addition to the bar. This is unbelievable.

What year did it start for you here? I started as a 17, 18 year old kid in 1987, 88. And then we bought

the place in 1999. And the rest of kind of history, it's been, I love the brand. I love what we do for people. I love how loyal our people are here. And mostly I love Dewey Beach. So it's, it's, uh, Dewey Beach is what makes this place so great. And it's been fun to build it and continue to build it each year. I've just blown away at just, yeah, the loyalty that people have to your brand and to your label and everything.

And I don't know.

And this is kicking off the summer, obviously.

And it's just as packed as ever.

It's busier than ever. I i mean covid changed the world in a lot

of ways a lot of people live at the beach now a lot of people come to the beach more often now and uh

you know dewey it's much more of a year round down than it once what is the attraction to booie

to do it because i was trying to tell friends like i don't know how to describe it it's just a small

little stretch but there is something special about it there's something special number one it's a

walking town it's two blocks wide and a mile long two it's got family values it's got beach you can

have dogs on and it's got amazing nightlife and outdoor nightlife one of the things

COVID change was outdoors as we are right now.
