Hey everyone, welcome to the 2016 Mixed Contest Recap.

Since the last episode of the year fell before the holidays, we wanted to take a few minutes today

and wrap up the entire contest, hear from our judges and of course make that big

announcement as to whom is taking home the grand prize. But before we do that let's

take a moment and appreciate all of our past DJ's. We had an amazing last couple of weeks. Starting off with eight finalists,

we had to see them off one by one starting with H.R. 64, Wanda, Bospin Harazbon, Meladynamic, and duality. Each of you gave it your very best and have everything

to be proud of.

Indeed, now that leaves us with two remaining challengers, Rocketman and underscores.

Before we hear from the judges, let's get a quick tally of where we stand with the community votes. We got Rocketman with 749 and underscores with 642.

Let's hand it over to our judges and remember each of their votes count for 50.

When it came down to the final challenge, one of the two mixes I felt did a better

job of focusing on the areas in between their high energy segments, creating a more seamless mix. That said, my vote goes to

underscores.
