This is episode 13.

And today we're going to get into our first guest right away.

At the first NASCAR race, I have recovered, this rookie driver finished second.

And he went on to win 18 career cup races including

four crown jewel races. That's three Coke 600 and the Brickyard 400. And even after having

his NASCAR career cut short due to health issues, this man has continued to race sprint cars,

which are both his true love and his roots. And last Friday in his 228th World of Outlaws start, the first of which came in 1997,

our next guest, finally won his first long-awaited Outlaws win.

And of course, I'm talking about one of the most popular drivers of 2000s NASCAR,

and that is Casey Kane, who joins the show now.

So welcome in. Casey, how are you doing?

Yeah, I'm doing pretty good.

It's, yeah, nice to see you and nice to be on your show.

Yeah, no, I mean, I'm used to Casey Kane Friday, but it's Casey Kane Thursday today.

And, you know, the World of Outlaws social media account called your victory one of the most popular wins in the history of sprint car racing, which is pretty, it seemed pretty accurate from everything I saw. So how have you been feeling over this last week since that? It's been, yeah, I felt great. Just, you know, it took a long time to win that race and, you know, win a world of Outlaw race, you know.

And I don't know why it took so long, but it did. And yeah, so it was really nice,

how to, you know, to drive for a great team, Macri Motorsports and work with some really good guys,

Joe Mooney and Anthony and that whole team, like Bob, they just did a super nice job.

We kept getting better.
