Mainly Scandinavia, England, Ireland, Scotland, the US has plenty Canada.

South America has pretty healthy black dog folklore as well.

So yeah, that's all over the place. I don't know the origins. I don't know who had them first, but we have them.

Rob's black dog story is a little nicer than some that say I really enjoyed it. It's a fun story.
