This is the story of the family vacation Jake had been begging his parents to go on for as long as he

could remember. He didn't have any particular place in mind.

He just wanted to go somewhere, anywhere.

But sometimes it felt like his parents were purposely trying to avoid taking a vacation.

Okay, Mom and Dad, Greta and I have a school break coming up,

and we feel this would be the perfect time for a family trip,' suggested Jake.

"'Might I remind you our family has never been on a trip together?

Unless you took one when I was a baby, and I've since forgotten.

But why would anyone waste a trip on a baby, when babies are really good at not remembering stuff?
