Well, over the years, people have often wondered about animal intelligence and their ability to learn, which is why I really found this next story so interesting.

According to researchers whose study was recently published in the journal Science, macaque monkeys got along better with their social group peers following a devastating hurricane.

Now, you'll likely recall that in 2017, Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico,

killing more than 3,000 people and destroying 63% of the vegetation on Caius Santiago.

That's a small island off the larger island's eastern seaboard.

Caius Santiago is also known locally as Isla de los Monos or Island of the Monkeys.
