Hello and welcome to crime lines. This week's case was recommended by Abigail, and it recently legally resolved, so it is the right time to cover it. I don't usually cover cases pending trial

or in this case retrial, but this one has been on my list for a while. It is a bit

complicated with multiple people and a timeline built through cell phone records and video evidence,

but I'm going to lay it all out as clearly as I'm capable of doing. Let's start with Monique Bow, who was born in Minneapolis

in October of 1991. She was very close to her family, especially her cousins, because she grew up

without any sister, so they filled that role. In her 20s, Monique was in a relationship with a man named John Mitchell

Momo, who was and is a Minneapolis-based rapper. So people from that area may recognize his last

name, Momo, because that is the name he wraps under. Monique and John had their first daughter in 2016, and then in 2018,

they had their second. Around the time of their second child's birth, Monique made a pretty big

change in her life. She was in her late 20s, and she decided it was time for a career, not just a job. So she became a

real estate agent in 2019. She was young and full of energy, and her dedication to growing her
