On December the 13th, the European Central Bank is to hold its regular policy meeting.

Back in June, it signaled that this would be when it would announce the end of its asset

purchases, i.e. its quantitative easing programme or QE. But since then, the Euro-area economy

has slowed.

Might that give the ECB pause?

Rashna Shanboog, a Europe economics correspondent,
