pod here ready for you two parts we are talking to Sharon Epperson. She is from

CNBC and it is just so much fun to talk to someone who does pretty much the

same thing that I do. She is the the CNBC senior personal finance. She's got a great background

very interesting about how she got into journalism, why she loves journalism.

So in this first part of the interview, I just thought it would be fun for you to get to know Sharon as I have gotten to know her. She's terrific. So here's the first part of our interview with Sharon Epperson.

So you grew up in Pittsburgh.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Like what exactly got like floated your boat

when you were a high school or what would people say about Sharon?

Like Sharon, oh, she's that super smart chick, really. You were a high school or what would people say about Sharon like

Sharon oh she's that super smart chick really great math head great writer what

would what would they tell me about you? Well I did I think I may have had the

reputation of being that nerdy smart kid but what I loved in high school was

journalism believe it or not I took an elective that my English teacher had in

journalism she called the journalism 101, The Working Elective.

She said, you're going to work hard, you'll learn a lot,

but we'll have a good time too.

And we did a radio broadcast, we were able to kind of write

for the school newspaper, which was pinnacle you know to try to get

a story into the school newspaper but she also did something that was really really smart and
