Thank you. It's really a privilege to be with you because everything I see so far in the Commission has made me encouraged and I'll say more about that as we go along and give you specifics. But thank you for singing the way you do.

I love to preach into a singing people. So let me pray that God would help me now and help you and make us connect.

Father I asked that you would come and be our teacher.

I ask Holy Spirit that you would draw near and guard me from error, cause me to be

faithful to your word,

grant me wisdom, grant protection from not only error, but pride

or failing to feel emotions that are appropriate to your word and grant that this

people would have a heart to hear and to receive and to be transformed by whatever truth is spoken.

So build our faith now, strengthen these churches that are represented here, make the impact through this weekend

stronger than we could ever imagine for the sake of the churches, the network, the city, and this nation

and indeed the world for the glory of Christ, we pray.
