As a single 36 year old with no human children, my cat, you for beans. He is my child.

And while many other pet parents would say the same, some are even going as far as to say raising a pet is just as expensive if not more than raising a human child.

Only if you let it. Only if you're that person that's out buying every Halloween costume for your pet. Every Christmas costume.

300 million toys every month. Well, this article I found it breaks down the amount of money a human child will typically cost you with an expectancy of living in your house till 18 years of age.

It comes to about $233,000. That's before the cost of college.

Oh, yeah, that is the cost of college now. Right, right. Now when it comes to peering a pet, the average cost, and this is if they live up to 18 years, is 81,000, which is roughly one third as expensive as a human child.

How is that possible? I mean, okay, I have a cat. I've had her for 14 years.

And I know we buy her food, you know, because we do that. We're good pet owners. And we get her medical check up now taking a cat dog whatever to the vet is more expensive than you think.

But it's not 81 grand worth. I mean, I think she maybe has had $2,000 of pet bills. Maybe they're factoring into like keeping them up on their rabies vaccines and things like that.

But, you know, as an indoor cat, she's not getting one. So there's where you can save some money. I'll agree with you.

I don't think it's near as expensive racing a pet than it is a child. Like I know how a child will just suck the life and the money.

It's interesting to see how you see that. Yes. And get you nothing in return.

That's very true. Yeah, I don't think those things are equitable in any way, shape, reform as far as cost.

Now, sometimes the love you get back from your pet is way better than your kids when they hit their teenage years.

That's right. Like boo boo beans. He's not even three months old yet. I'm leaving him alone at home. He's fine.

The record when you do have kids, you cannot do that. Okay, you got to raise them differently than boo boo beans.

Uplifting way of them. This is the Wally show and everybody likes to save a little bit of money or most people do anyway.
