Very grateful to everybody who filled in for us over the course of the last week or so. But it was a fun run. Happy to be back in our usual spot, though. I think you're happier than I am. well for us sleeping in i guess sleep if i sleep in until six o'clock in the morning it's okay alarm goes

off at 345 every morning you have a problem though like let's talk about that because you have a

serious issue where you do not sleep no i mean i'll sleep stormy i have an eternity to sleep coming up here in like 40 years or so, maybe. What's that, bring me the horizon song that I've quoted with you before? The pray for plagues? No, which one? Yeah, but I will never sleep because sleep is for the week. He was going to say, yeah, exactly. I will never sleep. For those who understand the reference, by the way,

Stormy would surprise you with her musical knowledge of that genre. I told you. I used to watch YouTube videos on how to, like, properly growl. So we're working on it. On that note, we do have a great show on deck for you. Very excited for all we're going to get into over the course of the next two hours. So let's set the table with everything that's to come.

It's time for the top headlines and topics of the day. This is the rundown. So, JVT, not the sexiest college basketball card I've ever seen in my life, but there are still a ton of games to get into. And we're going to do just that with our guy, Greg Hoops Peterson, about 15 minutes. Yep, looking forward to it. You mentioned it, but there's still some diamonds in the rough on this car that we can talk about, including an interesting game with Memphis on the road against South Florida. Very interested to see what the spot is like for Memphis. Interesting little scheduling stretch for the Tigers at North Texas. Get blown out on the road against Utah State. Now you've got to go again, a third straight road game. so we'll see what Memphis has in store among any others. And to talk about last night as well, I was at the sight of an embarrassing performance for UNLV yesterday. So we'll talk about the Mount West, which becomes ever more interesting with the results from yesterday and the day before. Speaking of last night, yes, we're going to talk about the upset with Creighton and

Yukon.

Yes, we're going to talk about what's been going on with Darren Peterson because that saga

continues.

But for now, we also have a lot of NBA to get to because we're kicking off the second

half tonight with a loaded 10 game card.

The second half, as we put in air quotes, even though we're well over the halfway mark of the season. Looking forward to the games today. We got a lot of news as well. And as part of that, too, as we get closer to the second half or into the second half, we have some updates from some media members who have votes as to what they're thinking for some awards today as well that we can discuss that I think have some interesting nuggets in comparison with where the betting markets at for a couple of guys. We'll also hit on some NFL news and notes a little bit later on in the program. Draft Kings has officially dropped their season win totals for the year. So some early reaction to that. But we are going to start in the Olympics as we are going for gold. Team USA, team Canada head to head right now. We just

dropped the puck in the second period here. Scoreless after one, which was a bit of a surprise.

Canada had two power plays. They couldn't cash in on any of them. Meanwhile, had a delayed penalty

late in the first that set up Team USA to now have an early power play opportunity here in the second,

about 50 seconds left on that. And Canada scored a shorty.
