this morning signed a veteran quarterback kirk cousins to bolster their quarterback room which we believe

in a few weeks will be also bolstered by the drafting of indiana quarterback fernando mendoza

with the number one overall pick you say maybe i, I say this signing for Kirk Cousins, though, is interesting because

based on the numbers here and Adam Schaefter broke it down, the sticker shock five-year

$172 million is actually one year $20 million fully guaranteed.

But of course, you get the sticker shock because it's an NFL contract, but the real money,

$20 million on a one-year deal. And it's interesting because Kirk Cousins was a highly sought after man. I mean, Sean McVeigh was pretty much twerking at the league meeting saying, come sign with the Rams. We want you to be the backup for Matthew Stafford. but Kirk Cousins chose the Las Vegas Raiders, maybe for no state income tax,
