Hi everybody. Welcome back to the Gen Z Girl podcast. My name's Abby Asselen. If you're new here,

and welcome back if you aren't new.

And I'm super excited for this week's episode, as I say, literally at the beginning of every episode.

But we're going to be talking about money lessons I wish I would have learned sooner.

As a 23-year-old, I guess, to give it a little bit of perspective.

I feel like I've learned so much about just money and all of the different aspects of money and, you know, just adulting type of perspective, I guess,

with money more so in the last like two years than I did in the first like 20 years of my life honestly and I know

I have a like episode already where I talk about I don't even remember everything I talked about

in that episode but this was a long time ago um so if you go like pretty far back there I have like a

finance episode where I pretty much talk about like personal finance and sort of just like answer money questions and that kind of thing. I'm not a professional by any means, but this is just my perspective. I did study accounting and finance and undergrad. So I do know a little bit. I don't know everything because I don't have obviously a ton of field experience,

but I at least know a little bit probably more than someone else who didn't study this in school.

So that's kind of what I wanted to talk about this week. And I thought it was a perfect week to do so.

Just because I feel like the timing of a lot that has happened, I feel like in the last like six months, even with money

from me, it's just important to talk about. And I know a lot of people like to listen to these

episodes just to get some insight from somebody their age that's not so like out of touch and out

of reach as like a financial advisor would be or a professional or you know anything like that and I'm not saying

substitute them with me I'm just saying sometimes you just want to hear something relatable and hear
