Summary

When used well, money can lead to great joy and human flourishing. But when it becomes the greatest desire of our souls, it can cause devastating pain. Money can be a great tool, but it makes a bad god. This week, Pastor Ben Stuart continues in our series through the Sermon on the Mount and shows us how Jesus challenges us to rethink how we view our finances.

0:43.0	It could not just fuel all these institutions, it could easily destroy hospitals, schools, homes, families.

0:52.0	Would you say it would be worth experimenting with?
0:56.0	Or what if I told you, hey, I want you to be in charge of it.
1:00.0	You harness the power and potential, this volatile substance that can give life or bring death.
1:05.0	I want you to be responsible for it.
1:07.0	Would you take that challenge?
1:09.0	Would you be open to harnessing its potential?
1:11.0	Or you'd say, no, no, no, no, that's too dangerous.
1:13.0	I don't want to mess with that.
1:15.0	What if I told you you didn't have a choice that you have to?
1:19.0	Does that make you nervous?
1:21.0	Because here's the reality.
