Good morning, everybody, the simple handicap for Monday, October 9th. Thank you for making me a part of your morning. Happy Thanksgiving Monday to everybody north of the border here in Canada. As always, recording this podcast on Sunday afternoon. It is 4.56 p.m. Pacific time as I hit record here on the show. Do have some family festivities lingering. Mom, Dad, and Sister made the drive out to the

west coast to see the wife and our new place. And we're just kind of wrapping things up for the

Thanksgiving weekend as they get back headed east tomorrow morning. And so this podcast is going to be a

little bit shorter than usual for these Sunday evening episodes. Still got in the full day of

football watching. Still got in the full day of football watching,

still got in the full day of write-ups and notes and got all those out on the RAS app.

So we have all the usual thoughts and ammo the sort of fire away with, but I'm going to

condense it a little bit. Then we'll have a much deeper dive on Tuesday morning when you

tune back in to the podcast. So here we go. We'll try to keep this to about

15 minutes and get you on your way if you're listening this Sunday night or to get you started

here on a Monday morning. Week six begins with the Denver Broncos on the road at the Kansas

City Chiefs. It is Kansas City, a 10.5 point favorite with the total of 51. Look ahead on this

game was KC, 10 and a half and 51.

There were a couple places that adjusted this up, half a point to 52 on the total. That has been

bet back. We're seeing 51.5 now showing there was certainly intrigue in the Chiefs under on game

day. Didn't really fully show within the market, but this defense for Kansas

City looks really, really good and continues to look really good. They erase Justin Jefferson

from the game. They make up for the Chiefs still sort of inability to get everything going on the

offensive side with the lack of wide receiver help that Mahomes is going with,

having to spread the ball around and he's just carrying this Chief's team through the early

portion of the season.
