We throw the word blessing around far too flippantly.

Everything's a blessing.

But there are certain things in the Bible that really are a blessing.

And I don't think that there's a greater blessing than the blessing of forgiveness.

Psalm 32 today.

I want to introduce a brand new word here in Psalm 32 that I think it's really interesting.

You'll find it in 12 of the titles of the Psalms, and it appears here in Psalm 32 for the first time.

But before we do that, I want to show you my favorite postcard because it comes from my favorite daughter, my only daughter, Hannah.

Hannah, as some of you know, is a resident of Australia,

the Sydney, Australia area, and she and her husband, Zach, and their beautiful little daughter,

Athalia. I've got pictures, are visiting right now for the Thanksgiving season, but she sent this

postcard a couple weeks ago when she and Zach were in Melbourne, Florida on a little getaway,

beautiful little postcard of some building, I guess it's the forum in Melbourne, beautiful little art, and really beautiful

handwriting there. If I do say so myself, she must have gotten that from her mother.

So Hannah, if you're listening, I love you, and thank you for thinking about your old dad

when you were down under, and it's good to have you home.
