I know we're all supposed to be despondent about the Vikings, but I'm despondent about the

future of golf.

Well, let me first say that the Vikings despondent I couldn't be happier than a pig and

slop.

It's a contrarian.

Yes, it's really fun.

But yes, well, what we discovered about Bryson Joe is that he hits it so far that he

can hit it in the rough and still get to the greens.

You know, he didn't hit any fairways and he wins it in the lock because he's so far down

there.

All he's got to do is take out a 63 degree wedge and hack it out of the grass and it

doesn't bother him a bit.

Well, two things, couple of things.

Roger Maltby, who I love dearly and who I think really misses his buddy, Johnny Miller.

But so they said, Roger, what do you think of this?

Meaning this incredible performance we're witnessing.

Maltby desperately wanted to beat Candid, but he probably also wants to save his job.

He said, golf was never designed to take fairways out of play.

Yes, also.

So I gave up when he was going to win it, but I didn't.

That's he and I have the same thought that.

But he then he modified his remarks and he said, I'm growing to like this.
