The most I ever had with Kobe was during that six game series against the Lakers, the

one shining moment in Wolves franchise history when they made it to the Western Conference

finals.

And of course we got contact with Kobe every day there for about ten days.

He was in the middle of hell right then.

He was in the Colorado sexual assault thing.

He still had that charge hanging over his head.

He was in a big feud with Shack about who should be the star of the team.

And then they had Gary Payton and Carl Malone had come in a couple of while he holds

Vets to win a championship and they were being driven crazy by Kobe and Shack feuding

with each other as to who should be the star.

So that wasn't a happy time in his life.

I get the impression he came a better person when he became the father of daughters don't

you think?
