This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Morning Run with Amy and T.J. An I-Heart Radio podcast. Hey there, everybody. And welcome to your morning run. It is Monday, June 22nd. I'm Amy Robach. And I'm T.J. Holmes, it's official, right? Summer. It's underway. It's felt like it already,

but it is officially here, which is always fun, and here come the storms. Well, you know, we love a good thunderstorm as long, you know, long as it's okay, and nobody gets injured. I do love the booming of thunder, and we don't get it that much up here. We kind of miss our southern thunderstorms. to tell us to brace ourselves today.

It could be an interesting day weather-wise,

and it was some tough weather across the country, really yesterday we'll get into as well. But wherever you are, hope you had a good Father's Day. We both talked to our dads yesterday. Just off the top, right quick, we're up to then plan on doing this. Take away from talking to your dad on the phone yesterday. That he seems really good and is enjoying his retirement.

And it was just fun because I ended up talking to my dad, but my mom sat down right next to him.

And so it was just a really awesome family catch-up.

How about with you?

My takeaway is that it's weird that I legitimately was giving my dad life advice that I hope he takes.

I heard you and I think, I hope he takes it too.

That's always a weird, because that might be the first time in my life.

I was actually giving my dad life advice.

I had to do with retirement.

He just retired as well.

So yeah, hope you had a good chat or maybe some time with your dad's yesterday. And also,

Robes, I saw a bunch of notes. There are some people, celebrities in particular, having the

first father's day without their dad. And so that's always a reminder. This is a tough day for a lot of

people. It's a bittersweet day for a lot of people who have a lot of wants and needs that, you know,

they just have to remember perhaps what was,

but it's tough when you have to honor someone who has passed.

But folks are going to get started on this Monday morning run.

Going to be making a lot of stops today, making a stop in D.C. and Switzerland, making a stop at the Strait of Hormuz in Boston.

At Madison Square Garden, we'll make a stop in London, in Illinois, and in Southampton, New York.
