Hey there, everybody, and welcome to Morning Run.

I'm Amy Roboc.

And I'm T.J. Holmes, as we continue our runs from Amsterdam.

As of now, congrats to the, well, I say congrats

to the Netherlands. We watched their match with the locals yesterday and it was going really,

really well until it wasn't. Until Japan tied it in the end to two, too. But it was so, it's so much

fun watching soccer and World Cup soccer when you have the home team playing

and you're in the home team city. It's awesome. So that was awesome. Oh, yes, we continue on the road,

but we do not stop morning running with you. We're going to be making stops in Brazil.

Making a stop back in our hometown of New York City. Also, make a stop on the south lawn of the White House. Make a stop in Missouri. The baby owl of your grocery store is where we're going to have a leg of the run this morning. And also we're making a stop at the weekend box office with robes. Let's start with the good news. Yes, it's a question mark. It's a question mark at the end, right? Because the information is coming from the White House. But yes, we're told it's good news? Yes. It's a question mark because the information is coming from the White House.

But yes, we're told it's good news because we're told there is a deal. The U.S. and Iran have reached

a new deal that will immediately open the Strait of Hormuz, this all, according to President Trump.

Yes. And it does appear that, yes, the Iranians have put out some indications that, yes, there is a deal of some kind in place.

Now, we first heard from the president in this social media post.

He said, quote, the deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete.

Congratulations to all I hereby fully authorize the toll-free opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

And simultaneously herewith authorized the immediate removal of the U.S. Naval Blockade.
