Good morning heathens and happy murder in the news Monday that I'm going to try to release

every single Monday morning because the rest of the regular news is just hot, scary garbage

and you know you'd rather be hearing me in my bullshit anyway.

So I've scoured the internet for the headlines so you don't have to. Happy commuting and here we go.

Now I've gathered quite a few for you today. I hope you don't mind. Our first one comes from Newsweek and is titled Man Hacks wife and son with

axe after suspecting they had a fair. A man in Punjab, India was arrested Saturday for allegedly attacking his wife and his 17 year old son with an axe earlier in the week after suspecting they had an affair according to the police.

Harjit Singh has left his son Lovepreet 17 and wife Jesswinder 38 with serious injuries after striking them with the

axe multiple times in a village in the city of Samrala following the attack that happened on Thursday.

The man then fled the scene with his other 14 year old son

and was later arrested by the Kana police at the city of Andinpur,

Seab, which is about 50 miles from Samrala.

Crime and security have been among the pressing concerns in a country with a population

over 1.4 billion.

The Ground Report, an Indian Digital News platform, revealed that the state of Kerala has the highest crime rate at 1,377.2, while Nagoland has the lowest crime rate at 67.2

according to data showing the highest charge sheeting rate

under the Indian Penal Code crimes. The crime rate in

Punjab where the axe attack happened stood at 242 lower than the rates

reported in neighboring states.

So this man, the father, said that he suspected that his wife developed a relationship with their own son and therefore allegedly tried to kill them both.

The suspect also confirmed to the police that he is not a drug addict.
