And today we have an episode that I have been hinting at in recent episodes.

This one's kind of a jumble of my thoughts, but there has been some research done, and I do have some of that.

That being said, there are going to be some spoilers into some very recent media,

and I would say particularly all her fault. Which, by the way, Dakota Fanning playing a mom really threw me off.

I want that to be noted at the very top.

Yeah. All right, yeah. It has been interesting because she was so young when she started as an actor.

Yeah, it's like she grew up on the screen, and I feel like as a person who was in my 20s, seeing her as a child, this is not okay.

I digress.

Yes, it was kind of bizarre.

This is just something that's been on my mind, and it feels like it's been on a lot of people's minds, which is sort of the point I'm going to make.

But it is kind of related to the single mother trope that we see in horror that Samantha, you talked about in our religious horror episodes, movies like Babadook, Conjuring 2.

We didn't, you know, I didn't even include the Exorcist in that, but the exorcist. Oh, yeah. Well, because like she, when was the father? He wasn't,

they weren't divorced, right? He was like overseas, but he wouldn't even talk to them on the phone.

Yeah. Yeah. The absent father. The absent father is a big, yes.
