We may have a deal Saturday night, President Biden and Speaker McCarthy announced they

reach a tentative deal to raise the debt ceiling for two years. It would limit federal spending

growth to 1% for the next six years and expand work requirements for certain food stamp recipients

among other things. All that's left is the minor hurdle of actually getting it through Congress.
