| 0:14.3 | State by State there have been so many headlines these days on issues of extreme moral and |
| 0:19.1 | cultural importance, but right now the most interesting headlines probably coming from the |
| 0:23.2 | state of Nebraska. |
| 0:25.0 | On Friday, an impasse was finally broken in the unit camera in the Nebraska legislature. |
| 0:30.8 | That is to say that a Nebraska legislature doesn't have a house in a Senate. |
| 0:34.5 | It has only one chamber rather than by camera meaning to its unit camera meaning one. |
| 0:40.6 | There's a Republican majority and that majority have been working towards passing legislation |
| 0:45.6 | that would restrict transgender treatments for teenagers and children and also would offer |
| 0:51.6 | protection for unborn life. |
| 0:53.9 | The latter provision ran into a legislative problem when at least one of the Republicans |
| 0:59.1 | who had been expected to vote for the bill said that he would not and he offered his |
