This one is everywhere right now, understandably.

Yesterday, Iran's President Ibrahim Raisei was involved in a helicopter crash, the President and his foreign

foreign minister. The helicopter reportedly had a quote hard landing after it flew

into a foggy mountainous area. There was a massive rescue operation. There were a lot of

questions for a lot of hours and now as of this morning it was announced that

none of the passengers survived. Under law the Vice President takes over the presidency for 50 days at the end of which a new presidential election will be held.

All right, okay, on to sports here.

Oh my gosh, where do I even start?

It was a very busy weekend.

First, the number one ranked golfer in the world,

Scotty Sheffler was arrested on charged with a

a standstill he disobeyed the police and was ultimately arrested and

charged with second-degree assault of a police officer third-degree

criminal mischief and reckless driving they They booked him and he was

released just about an hour before his tea time. His lawyer said he he plans on

pleading not guilty and as for the tournament he finished, tied for eighth.

Meanwhile, Xander Schofel won the thing.

He wanted, he birdied the last hole.

It was very dramatic.
