When we are dead set determined in our sin to do what we want to do, how does God get our attention?

And a second thing he does sometimes is he takes away those blessings that we don't even

Thanks for coming back and being a part of the podcast today. We're in Josea chapter number

two, talking about Josea's family, but in a larger sense, really talking about the relationship

that God's people had with God.

Might be better to say the lack of relationship that God's people had with their God.

The God that loved them, the God that called them, the God that in a very spiritual sense was

their husband, and yet they were out playing the field.

They were out seeking other lovers, and God was not going to put up with that.

He was being merciful.

He was warning them.

He was loving them still.

And yet things had to come to a head eventually.

And that's what we're going to talk about today.

So look at Joseo chapter 2 and verse number 6, where the Lord responds to this really callous

attitude that Israel has, that somehow she is okay with having God to be

your husband and yet play the harlot with all of these other gods and idols.

So here's what the Lord says in verse number six.

Therefore, behold, I will hedge up thy way with thorns and make a wall that she shall not find
