A couple weeks ago, I mentioned the anniversary of the first message transmitted through a telephone and today is the anniversary of the very first tweet co-founder and former CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey tweeted just setting up my Twitter Twitter was spelled without the vowels and that sentence last year.

He actually sold that tweet as an NFT for $2.9 million. I still don't really understand NFTs, but happy anniversary Twitter.

All right, let's go. I always start with the top stories. I was hoping this would be over by the time I got back in here, your daily update on the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Russia is now launching Mach 5 missiles inside Ukraine, hypersonic weapons as they continue to pound the country.

According to the United Nations, one in four Ukrainians has been forced to flee their homes. 25% of the country now refugees. It's unbelievable.

Still, according to a poll, more than 90% of Ukrainians believe their country will win this war.

Ukrainian President Zelensky has said that he is ready for negotiations with Putin and he added that if those talks fail, that would mean that this is a third world war. That's what he said.

President Biden is leaving Wednesday to travel to Europe, he'll be in Belgium to meet NATO and European allies to discuss the war. On Friday, he's expected to travel to Warsaw, Poland, which shares a border with Ukraine.

Yet, into sports, a lot of basketball this weekend. The sweet 16 is set in the NCAA March Madness tournament.

Saint Peter is one of the big stories. They pulled off two major upsets and are now set to face Purdue. If they do win it all, some guy is going to make over $37,000. He placed a small bet on them.

And if they win it all, he's rich. North Carolina defeated number one seed Baylor to advance as well. Lots of unexpected outcomes, which means that there are already no more perfect brackets out there.

I looked it up the odds of filling out a perfect March Madness bracket are apparently about one in 9.2 quintillion.

Good luck next year. Another big story. Duke, Beat Michigan State to secure one last trip to the sweet 16 for Coach K.

It was actually his 1200th career victory. That's a big deal. And this will be his 26th sweet 16. The games continue on Thursday.

Elsewhere in basketball, LeBron James just passed Karl Malone as the NBA's second all-time leading scorer. He's now roughly 1400 points behind number one that's Karim Abdul-Jabbar.

Okay, okay. Into entertainment, a couple stories for him is JLo and Benjamin Affleck are reportedly looking to buy a house together.

According to TMZ, the two of them made an offer in the $50 million range for a house in the Bel Air area of Los Angeles. People online are talking a lot about the fact that the house has 17 bathrooms.

West Side Story star Rachel Ziegler had a lot of people talking this weekend. She said on her social media that she was not invited to the Oscars.

She stars as Maria in the recent film. And while she is nominated herself, the movie is up for seven awards, including Best Picture, not invited. Wow.

Some movie and TV news now for you. Congrats to the Batman, not Ben Affleck. And as the 17 bathrooms are talking about the new one, Robert Pattinson, the movie, another weekend, number one, it passed the $300 million mark, which by the way pushed IMAX over the $10 billion lifetime mark.

That's big. At number two this weekend, kind of surprising, Jujutsu Kaizen Zero, which confirms that there is a big desire in this country for Japanese content, Japanese anime, no less. That was number two this weekend.
