We are in Matthew 27, as most of you know,

and we're in this section of the scripture where Jesus is finally standing trial. Now,

he's faced the kind of the kangaroo court at Caiaphas' house in the middle of the night, the early wee hours of the morning.

But now as day breaks, he is heading to the house or the hall of Pilate.

We talked a bit about that could have been the Antonio Fortress.

It could have been the governor's palace.

And regardless of the location, Jesus stood before the governor.
