I don't know if you'll hear it or if you'll tell someone else about it, but God often did that.

I wonder if God summarized my life in one verse, what would he say?

We're going to find out today about two guys whose lives God summarized in one verse in what he said.

Hello there, my friends, back in the studio here in Fredericksburg.

And looking forward to finishing First Kings chapter 22 today.

We've been talking about the kings, primarily of the Northern Kingdom,

but the Southern Kingdom as well.

We've called this series the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Got to thinking about that the other day.

I probably should have called it the ugly, the bad, and the good because that seems to be the

order in which these kings have displayed themselves.

But we've seen some good ones.

We've seen some good decisions.

We've seen a lot of bad decisions.

And remember that all of these stories are in the Bible for a purpose and many

purposes, one of which is that we could look at them as examples and learn from them, both the good
