Ephesians, but specifically we're looking at a section here in Ephesians 4 where we're identifying the marks of a model

church.

Is your church a model church?

Well, it probably has some issues, as does ours, because we're full of sinful people.

But that doesn't mean that we can't more and more even congregationally reflect the character

of Jesus.

And that's the application that we're looking at in this chapter.

And we've talked about two elements already.

We've talked about the ministers in a model church.

We've talked about the measurement of a model church. And've talked about the measurement of a model church.

And of course, the measurement is none other than Jesus himself. I think about that warning that

Paul gave to Corinthians. What he said, when we measure ourselves by ourselves and we compare

ourselves among ourselves, we're not wise. We can always find some

human being against whose character we look good and bad by the way as well. But when we compare
