Seven companies have given their scouts honor pledge to develop AI responsibly.

The group, which includes Microsoft, Google, and OpenAI, promised to abide by eight measures

to keep the growth of AI safe and secure, including the following.

One, watermarking audio and visual AI generated content, two, encouraging experts and third

parties to test their models, and three, flagging inappropriate use.

The good faith agreement came after a push by the White House, which created an AI bill

of rights and will expire once Congress passes formal AI regulation.

Other bills are in the works, including one that would require political ads to disclose

any AI use.

As humans are hopefully getting smarter about the use of AI, the tech itself appears to

be getting dumber.

Here's a prime example.

Chat GPT now only accurately defines prime numbers 2.4% of the time, down from 97.6%

in March.
