that isn't afraid to take aside and

The only way you could have missed today's first headline is if you literally slept through yesterday entirely,

which is that President Biden announced that he will no longer be running for re-election in November.

Congratulations to Donald Trump who was now the oldest person to ever run for president.

Biden endorsed Vice President Harris as the nominee for the top of the ticket, and the

Biden for president campaign officially refiled with the Federal Election Commission as Harris for President.

It was also a record-breaking day in Democratic fundraising, with over 28 million donated

in the hours after the announcement from small dollar donors. A flood of key

endorsements also came in the following hours from dozens of Democratic

members of Congress, the Congressional Black Caucus, the Clintons,

governors Mark Kelly, Roy Cooper, and Josh Shapiro, whose names are all in the ring for potential VP picks to Harris, as well as California Governor Gavin Newsom, whose name some had mentioned as a potential opponent to her for the nomination.

Harris was also endorsed by all 50 Democratic State Party chairs,

and she has also started collecting the delegates that were previously pledged to Joe Biden.

DNC delegates from Tennessee, South Carolina, and Florida have all voted to endorse Harris yesterday afternoon.

I really don't remember the last time so many people agreed on anything so quickly,

with one exception at least.

In a boring surprise, West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin

says he may be considering re-registering as a Democrat

to launch a bid for president.
