We're starting the week off right, with some congressional drama.

The far-right House Freedom Caucus has confirmed that they officially voted to remove

Marjorie Taylor Greene from their caucus a few weeks ago, adding that her fight with

Lauren Bober, where she called her a little bitch on the House floor, was one of the reasons

for the expulsion.

In reality, the only technical consequence of this, besides having no friends at work,

is that Greene will no longer be able to attend the caucus's weekly off-campus meeting.

What will she do with that extra hour?

Some tweets, more crossfit, more guided tours of Kevin McCarthy's asshole?

The Labor Department released June's economic numbers on Friday, only slightly less of an

exciting drop than Speak Now Taylor's version.

Hiring slowed in June with the economy adding 209,000 new jobs, while average hourly wages

grew 4.4%, and the unemployment rate fell from 3.7 to 3.6%.

In terms of practical implications, these numbers suggest that higher interest rates

have been slowed down economic activity sufficiently, to meet the federal reserve's inflation target

of 2%.
