Hey friends, welcome back to today's episode of Everyday Truth.

Obviously, I am back from Israel and Greece and Turkey and wherever else I was.

I had church this morning, and this is Sunday afternoon my time.

So I thought I would bring a quick podcast to you from matthew six brand new chapter

we're right in the middle of the sermon on the mount and we are in a section that is just so

convicting jesus as you know grew up in nazareth He probably worked in a little town called Sephirus or Zipori,

would be another name to say it. And it was a Roman provincial center in Galilee. And it had all the

Roman parts of the city. It had the Roman roads, had the Roman feel, Roman culture,

and among the buildings that have been excavated in that little town,

actually not even a little town, it's more of a city,

was a Roman theater right at the time of Christ. In fact, what's

interesting is that that town was being built at the exact same time that Jesus would have been

working as a builder, as a carpenter. The word carpenter really means a builder. So Joseph and Jesus,
