We're following two major stories as we come on the air.

First, the deadly storm stretching more than 2,000 miles,

leaving more than 800,000 customers without power this morning,

mostly in the south, as they face frigid temperatures.

The storm has also caused chaos at our nation's airports after thousands of flights were canceled

Sunday. Roads also a mess. Snow turned ice in many places. We have team coverage of it all just ahead.

But we are going to begin with the latest on the shooting death of Alex Preddy by federal agents

in Minneapolis.

Outrage over the killing, sparking more anti-ice protests over the weekend, as well as a moment of silence before last night's Minnesota Timberwood's game.

Remembering Alex Prattie, an ICU nurse of the Veterans Administration, a doctor who worked with him, called him a good

citizen whose life was just starting.

His parents asked for him to be remembered as a kind-hearted soul, adding, they are very

angry about how he was being speared by Trump administration officials.

The incident itself was captured by several bystanders on their phone.

The video directly contradicts claims from federal officials that

Prattie brandished a gun with the intent of killing officers. We have team coverage, including
