whether you're already out at festivities or just getting ready to go out

happy New Year's Eve to everybody listening to one game left on the week 17 slate.

It is Sunday Night Football between the Packers and the Vikings.

Let's see if finally, I think for the first time this season, I know I'm exaggerating,

but I don't remember the last time I won a

Sunday night football wager. Have the over in this game. Market has gone against it. It is now down to

42 something I do not agree with but a lot of things that I agreed with did not

come to fruition in week 17 so let's see if this ends the 2023 calendar year on a

winning note.

This podcast is going to be messier than usual.

There's a lot to sort through.

There's a lot to try figure out.

We have numbers for most games starting to trickle out.

Let's try and make sense of the playoff

scenarios and rather than referencing look ahead lines which I typically do, I'm

going to mention market rating numbers prior to week 17 games kicking off.

The reason I am doing this is as a basic illustration

to try, show which games have the must win narrative priced in versus not.

Everything you're going to hear from media this week is this team needs to win for X, Y, and Z. This team is already eliminated has nothing to play for that's going to be everywhere

everybody's looking at that it is almost always reflected in the market, even with early openers.
